At 1252 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near McQueeney, or near New Braunfels, moving east at 45 mph. HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... New Braunfels, San Marcos, Schertz, Kyle, Seguin, Cibolo, Converse, Universal City, Lockhart, Selma, Luling, Randolph AFB, Bulverde, Garden Ridge, McQueeney, Martindale, Marion, Uhland, Kingsbury, and Santa Clara. Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.
